Sue Weiveris

Diagnosed in February 2000. Sue has had 3 hepatic chemoembolizatons, liver resection by RFA and two different systemic chemotherapy programs. Sue helped in forming the Metro NY Carcinoid Support Group(MNYCSG) and served as Tri-State Coordinator of the MNYCSG until her death. Sue's husband, Jim, can be cotacted at Caring4Noids@aol.com
Susan Anderson
Diagnosed in May 1995. Susan has had partial bowel blockages and surgery for removal of carcinoid tumors in various parts of her body. She has been on systemic chemotherapy programs and has fought breast cancer (unrelated to carcinoid). Susan is on the Board of Directors of the Southern California Carcinoid Fighters (SCCF). Stephen Pazan
Diagnosed in June 2000. Stephen has had bowel surgery and 2 hepatic chemoembolizations. Stephen was instrumental in organizing the Southern California Carcinoid Fighters (SCCF). On March 31, 2004, we lost Steve after 4 1/2 months of hospitalization and while awaiting a liver transplant .
Al Simms
Diagnosed in March 2000. Al has had good results in stablizing his disease with Sandostatin. Al is the Webmaster for the Capital Area Carcinoid Survivors (CACS). Al can be contacted at asimmsjr@aol.com
